KLOG has just announced a new partnership with the US company project44. With this new agreement, the Portuguese company will benefit from a service that allows a high level of traceability of all goods transported across different segments – Air, Rail, FTL, Roro, Short-Sea and Deep-Sea – and simultaneously guarantees the connection between seaports and rail terminals, as well as allowing it to manage its multimodal shipments.

Through a one million euro investment in the platform developed by Project44, KLOG will have access, starting in May, to a fully integrated service that enables traceability of at least 90 percent of the cargo volume in operation. Egídio Lopes, Managing Director of KLOG, is pleased with the agreement and states that “the combination of this new service and the existing 24/7 digital service provided by Project44 will put KLOG up to the challenges of the coming years, allowing us to offer a service with high performance standards.”
“As one of the largest transport and logistics services in the region, the partnership with KLOG will bring greater visibility to the supply chains of Latin America and Southern Europe. We are excited about project44’s end-to-end visibility technology, which will allow KLOG to track and control multimodal cargo in order to meet the constantly changing and evolving needs and expectations of customers,” said Miriam Ribas, sales director of project44 for the Iberian Peninsula.
Project44 was founded in Chicago in 2014 and is dedicated to developing solutions that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the supply chains of transportation and logistics companies. The platform aims to create a global multimodal network through point-to-point tracking of goods transported by air, sea, and land.
