A transport and logistics company aims to respond effectively to its ongoing growth and wants to invest in new services, marking its fifth year in business.

KLOG – a logistics and transport company with 100% Portuguese capital – was created in 2012. In its five years of activity, the Portuguese company has registered sustained growth, reaching a total turnover of 41 million euros last year, and projects a 34 percent increase in 2017. To celebrate this milestone and to effectively meet customer needs, KLOG has just inaugurated new facilities in Porto, moving from Vila do Conde to Maia (near Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport).

The new infrastructure – which will house the company’s headquarters and branch in Porto, offering services from all divisions (Land, Air & Sea, P&S Cargo, and Contract Logistics) – represents an investment of €750,000 and includes 6,500 square meters of warehouse space for cross-docking, with 25 dockside doors, and 2,000 square meters of office space. The increase in the number of employees – now reaching one hundred – and the focus on the pharmaceutical segment, which implies investment in distribution methods and appropriate spaces to guarantee temperature control and positive refrigeration, were other reasons that led KLOG to seek facilities better suited to its needs and allowing for greater responsiveness.

We are constantly attentive to the specific needs of our clients and always seek to provide a response based on comprehensive, integrated and personalized solutions, so the new infrastructure will help us to do just that,” he concludes.
