A transport and logistics company is taking another step to meet customer needs by offering greater service customization.

After six years, KLOG – a wholly Portuguese-owned transport and logistics company – has been registering sustained growth every semester. To meet the increasingly demanding needs of its clients, KLOG has just invested €750,000 – in fleets, facilities and technology – and created around thirty job opportunities to reinforce its expansion, having created a new company for this purpose. From now on, there will be two distinct companies – KLOG Transport Solutions and KLOG Logistic Solutions.

KLOG Transports Solutions – based in Vila do Conde – aims to offer value-added road freight transport solutions for its clients’ businesses. To achieve this, it will have its own fleet of 20 trucks operating continuously to ensure even greater quality and efficiency. The goal is to make the service even more personalized and clear for the client, as well as to strengthen the Iberian land transport market, increasing the number of clients in this business area in the medium term.

KLOG Logistic Solutions, headquartered in Maia, will continue managing its existing market divisions – Land, Air & Sea, P&S Cargo, and Contract Logistics. The objective will be to create and develop innovative, value-added transport and logistics solutions that contribute to customer success. The company also aims to become increasingly recognized for its excellent services, thanks to high quality standards and responsible business and environmental practices.

The goal is that, in the medium term, Transport Solutions will seek its own space in the market, attracting clients who are more focused on road transport. It should also be noted that both companies will have new logos, which already reflect the business strategy, while maintaining the same graphic identity that characterizes KLOG.
