Founded in 2012, KLOG is celebrating 10 years of history and activity this year, a decade marked by a focus on creating and designing a unique and successful business model that has allowed the company to reach a level of expertise to prepare for and enhance growth in the coming years, and also to gain the trust of the company’s clients, suppliers, and partners.

Now, discover the main milestones of KLOG’s 10-year history!

With only one year of activity, in 2013, KLOG opened a branch in Lisbon and became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Green Freight Europe – a voluntary and independent program to improve the environmental performance of road freight transport in Europe. In 2014, the company launched the rail corridor to Catalonia. In 2015, new offices were inaugurated in Fajozes, and KLOG was integrated, as an official member, into the MACH3000 network – The European Furniture Transport Network.

Following the opening of the new Lisbon branch facilities in 2016, the following year saw the inauguration of a 6,500 square meter cross-docking warehouse in Porto. The first distinction came in 2018 with the “Portugal National Winner” award, where it received “The Elite Award for Growth Strategy of the Year”. KLOG Transport Solutions was founded that same year as a new road transport company with its own fleet. In 2019, KLOG received the EcoVadis silver medal.

Despite the pandemic, which brought changes at all levels, KLOG obtained AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certification in 2020, making the import and export process simpler, safer, and faster. In addition, the Navitrans system was implemented in the same year. Finally, 2021 reinforced KLOG’s commitment to environmental issues, marking the development of the company’s first sustainability report.

KLOG has achieved much over these past 10 years, but much more is yet to come. Whether on land, at sea, or in the air, KLOG will continue to provide excellent service, both nationally and internationally.
