strong commitment to sustainability, required a high-capacity, low-emission logistics solution between Poland and Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, there was a growing need for scalable and reliable transport capacity along this key European corridor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Comply with the client\u2019s environmental and sustainability requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure high-capacity transport between Poland and Spain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement an efficient, reliable, and low-emission intermodal class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Solution Implemented<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In close collaboration with logistics partners and the client, an innovative intermodal solution was developed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A maritime link was established between the port of Gdynia (PL) and Bilbao (ES), significantly reducing long-haul road transport;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A rail connection from Bilbao to Tarragona (ES) ensured seamless inland transport;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electric trucks (EVs) were deployed for first and last mile operations in Tarragona, further minimizing local emissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This integrated approach aligned the logistics operation with the client\u2019s environmental goals while maintaining service efficiency and scalability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Results \/ Impact<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Weekly intermodal service (sea + rail) from Gdynia to Catalonia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased cargo capacity and improved service frequency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A more sustainable logistics alternative aligned with the client\u2019s environmental strategy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimated CO\u2082 savings of approx. 117,400 g per tonne, representing a 70% reduction compared to direct road transport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First and last mile in Tarragona completed with electric trucks, reinforcing the commitment to sustainable
